New Jersey-only online series awards over $900k in 10 tournaments on partypoker NJ network
The WPT’s latest stop on partypoker NJ network more than tripled the guarantee, as players turned out in big numbers for the New Jersey tournament series.
The World Poker Tour Online Borgata Series powered by partypoker US Network ran Sept. 13-21, with the ten-tournament schedule promising just over $275,000 in prize money. With the last of those events wrapping up Monday, the final prize pool figures far surpassed that original $275k mark.
The nine-day series ended up awarding $912,700 overall, more than tripling the guarantee. The biggest first-place payout from that prize pool came in the WPT Online Borgata Series Main Event.
Tony ‘ToNiSiNzz’ Sinshtaj came away with the Main Event championship, outlasting a field of 440 entries to take home $77,349.
Sinshtaj adds to impressive resume with Main Event win
The prize pool for the $1,060 buy-in Main Event ended up at $432,700, with each of the top seven finishers earning a five-figure payday. In addition to the champion’s purse, Sinshtaj also took home a $5,200 Hublot Big Bang E Titanium watch.

With the win, Sinshtaj adds a major online victory to a resume that already includes more than $1.65 million in live tournament earnings. A former WPT champion, Sinshtaj’s biggest career payday came in the 2017 $3,500 No Limit Hold’em WPT Showdown Championship. Sinshtaj took down the championship in that event at Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL, earning a $661,283 payday.

Sinshtaj is no stranger to success in both WPT and Borgata events. One of the top three payouts of Sinshtaj’s career came in a $400 No Limit Hold’em event at the 2017 Borgata Summer Open, which Sinshtaj took down for a $95,000 score. The WPT Online Borgata Series Main Event win and the $77,349 payday rank amongst Sinshtaj’s biggest all-time scores.
Second-place finisher Kenny “chaposticks” Huynh added another big payday to a 2020 resume that includes a WSOP bracelet and a runner-up finish at the Parx Big Stax 500.
Huynh won $133,857 in Event #19: $400 No Limit Hold’em in the 2020 WSOP Online Bracelet Events series in July, earning his first career bracelet win. He also won $80,298 with a second-place finish in the Parx Big Stax 500 in February.
Huynh adds another $56,900 to the 2020 totals with his runner-up finish in the WPT Online Borgata Series $1,060 Main Event.
Main Event, other tournaments draw big numbers for WPT Online Borgata Series
The majority of events on the World Poker Tour Online Borgata Series powered by partypoker US Network schedule saw guaranteed prize pools handily surpassed.
The series started with Event #1: $100K GTD Kickoff, a $215 buy-in event that came up just short of meeting the guarantee with 495 entries. After that, however, New Jersey players pushed the prize pools past the guarantees in every other event.

Other than Event #7: Heads-Up 32-Max (which capped entries at 32 players), and the Main Event, which didn’t offer a guarantee, every tournament surpassed the advertised minimum prize pool. The turnout for the Borgata Series bodes well for the partypoker US Network, which includes partypoker NJ, Borgata Poker, and BetMGM.
